I’m a registered psychologist with years of experience working with individuals from all walks of life with a range of mental health concerns.

My focus is on working with you to improve mental health, performance, and maintain overall wellbeing. Together, we achieve this by developing a shared understanding of your difficulties and strengths which allows us to tailor treatment that blends evidence-based practice and your expertise.

My philosophy is that psychological services are important for improvement in mental health during times of deterioration as well as maintaining mental health stability and optimal functioning. While I don’t have a magic wand and can’t do the work for you, I will help you to empower yourself to participate in life rather than struggling or just going through the motions. 

Because one size does not fit all, I do not draw from a single approach when working with you. Rather, I draw from a variety of different theories and evidence-based approaches to tailor an individualised treatment plan. The most common approaches I integrate into therapy sessions are Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Somatic Therapy, Solution Focused, Insight-Orientated, and Person-Centred. Importantly, I help you connect with your own knowledge of what works best for you – after all, this is about your mental health and overall wellbeing.
